I am glad to be a part of this project as I feel it is important to educate everyone on what I have learned in the hardest way possible. I lost my son Spencer O'Gorman in 2017. I did not know he was in need of help. I had no clue that he was using. I dug in to understand harm reduction and its benefits to saving lifes. I want to help educate everyone, even the ones who say "it won't be my family." You see, I thought that too, and by not knowing I missed it. Now, I miss my son. Please take the time to learn what you can do to help save lives!

Most of us know someone who has been impacted by this issue in some way. The Healing Cortland team is excited to bring the community together to work to improve the lives of those impacted and prevent future overdose deaths.

Healing Cortland receives staff support from CACTC, but the effort would not be possible without the involvement of countless agencies and community members from across Cortland County and the region.
